Join us to explore the very first discoveries and uses of radio waves with a very simple feedback circuit. It makes a Buzz as it switches itself on and off very fast but we find that it is also transmitting radio waves. We might also make a robot chicken circuit along the way and maybe learn a bit of Morse code too.

Recommended for ages 10+ or with adult supervision

Our weekly club is for game design, arcade console building, Crumbles and Arduinos, soldering & Making and many other kinds of coding and Making, whatever you are interested in. Age 11+, relaxed atmosphere, £5 donation, advance booking required here.

STEAM 2022 is an ACS International Schools event, booking required (see website).

Participatory demonstrations and drop-in activities including Bass Buzz, Oobleck, Scavengers, Nose Testing and some of our Noisy Toys and mechanical instruments for you to try out.

Nose Testing and other audio participatory experiments 3-7pm, then the Audio Assault Buggy will join the procession with live egg slicer and rubber band performances.
