Game Making/code club 14+ Mondays 4-5
A weekly game design code club for teens/young people.
We will be using a game design system designed by Mick Chesterman as well as trying out other (free) coding and game-making platforms with a focus on effective design and constantly improving our work. Participants can create their own games and learn new skills, then we play each-other's games.
Once we are happy with our game we start on physical computing, using Makey-Makeys to load our game into a DIY arcade machine.
Each week there will be new challenges and skills demonstrated and facilitated but participants are also free to use the space to work on their own projects.
Computers provided or bring your own.
Access to a Microsoft account will enable participants to save their work and optionally log-in and continue in their own time.
£5 each session or £20 for 5 weeks paid in advance
