Get sparking at Lates 6.30-9.30pm at the National Science & Media Museum in Bradford.
Sending out an SOS.... using some paper clips, some bits we found in old door-opening mechanisms, a 9v battery and some croc leads, we can now help you to broadcast an emergency distrss signal to an incredible range of nearly 2 metres! Just make sure that potential help is within that distance and you can rely on rescue, although the circuit is a bit fiddly...
17-19 Aug: Hoo-Ha! Bristol Beacon
Feel 1000 watts of bass power though your fingers, make laser-blaster sounds with a slinky, and discover amazing sounds hidden in everyday objects with Noisy Toys and their sound experiments, demonstrations and short workshop activities. Find us at the Beacon, central Bristol.
Wed 17 Aug will be a Relaxed Day for families who might require a gentler environment with quieter activities and fewer people.
22-23 October Manchester Science Festival, Arndale Centre
Bass vibrations, participatory demonstrations, Oobleck biohazard, nose testing and other strange drop-in activities to science-up all you shoppers out there!
We will be right in the throbbing heart of the city at the Arndale centre as part of the 2022 Manchester science Festival, organised by the fabulous Science and Industry Museum.
