Bass Buzzing occurs as part of the full Acousatron installation, sometimes at the end of the Bass in your Face stage show, during drop-in activites and workshops. It’s great.
The Bass Buzz is an every-popular tingly experience that some people say feels like pins and needles. It helps understanding of sound vibrations, electromagnetism, speaker design, and the frequency/pitch relationship.
We use a specially adapted powerful PA bass driver, a reasuringly heavy 4000 watt amplifier and 2 accompanying bass bins. Bass is produced by a signal generator and some Bass Drives (repurposed hard drives).
