Rochdale Science Initiative are one of the most truly grassroots community-centred organisations we have worked with and we are proud to be working alongside their young science-buskers this Sunday in Rochdale. This is where science communication and education needs to be happening: in the community, and the Rochdale Science Initiative does exactly that. After running a science-busking workshop with an enthusiastic group of young people in Rochdale we are now taking to Number One Riverside in Rochdale to take science to the public! Science Busking is short accessible activities designed for public spaces with the aim of incrasing interest in, and awareness of science. Come and see what the young trainees are doing and support the fantastic Rochdale Science Initiative.
