Reminders

  • Arrival is now after 5pm Thursday unless you are set-up crew
  • Thursday early evening- everyone together in the dome. Time TBC. After this it is likely we won’t all be in the same place at one time.
  • Noisy Toys Child Exploitation Policy clearly states that EVERYONE must earn their potatoes. Steve can use his teacher voice on reluctant kids if necessary.
  • Our crew camp will be a quiet campsite for early-shift workers so please party late elsewhere. The crew campsite was quiet last year, and next to some woods.
  • Cars will be parked in the main festy car park.

Loading – RECRUITING!

Wednesday 22 is load-up day, couple of extra hands needed. Also Monday 27th for unloading.


Crew Campsite – RECRUITING!

Need a crew who can also arrive Thursday morning and stake out a decent camp for us. There are piggin loads of us so we need a big space.

Also- people to just keep our camp nice and shout at teenagers when they don’t clean up their stuff.

Fiddling around with complicated annoying electrical things etc. Anyone with some experience of this, please let me know.

We will have less time than usual to do this, and will have done less prep than usual, so we will need to be focussed for most of Thursday.

This needs 2 experienced performers who have done it before. If you are up for learning then watch and have a go.

Friday 4-7 pm – Acousatron opens in Dome. ALL CREW if possible. This will be the on-the-job training, newbies watch and learn and have a go.

Steve, Fernando & Ben, floating techs.

Each team needs a manager at all times. This person does not need to be experienced; they will keep an overview of the area, especially health & safety and crew needs (breaks etc) ensuring that everything is nice. Needs a level head. Doesn’t get involved in engagement; stands back. Can switch during shift.

Kids will be assigned shifts as well.
